Climbing has certainly become one of the most popular summer sports in the Ötztal in recent years. Climbing in the alpine area has undoubtedly become a true trend sport and therefore a must for every visitor to the Ötztal.

Whether at lofty heights in alpine climbing or sport climbing on striking rocks in the valley basin - every climber will find what his heart desires. With a climbing harness, carabiners and fixed ropes, your first tour on a via ferrata is guaranteed to be a safe experience. Starting with easy climbing routes for beginners up to the 11 degree of difficulty for professionals, the Ötztal can meet, even exceed all expectations. Steep walls, striking rocks, mighty mountain ranges and countless summit conquests - sport and alpine climbing in the Ötztal offers all this.

Starting with the via ferrata at the Lehner waterfall to the via ferrata at the Stuibenfall, you can certainly experience a lot here. The imposing, high rock faces are guaranteed to leave a lasting impression, but are completely safe with a trained mountain guide.

With a huge variety of different climbing gardens and rock types, no wish remains unfulfilled! Climbing offers the opportunity to get up close and personal with nature and experience the thrill live.

An adventurous ascent is then followed by hiking back down to the valley.

Flying Fox & Rope Course Längenfeld

High Ropes Course

Experience a new kind of natural high ropes course. This Flying Fox rope course is located in the most beautiful nature area Ötztal. You will experience three of the highest rope slides in combination with via ferrata, high ropes course and fun elements as well as abseiling passages and much more.

This fascinating course is the first in Tyrol to be built in nature between rocks and trees. It is uniquely integrated into the Ötztal natural landscape and offers an impressive view over the entire valley basin of Längenfeld.

The course includes three of the highest flying foxes (up to 80m) in the Ötztal, several high ropes course elements, abseiling passages and much more.

Among other things, the parcour can also be used in part as a descent of the Reinhard Schiestl via ferrata. If all this is not enough for you, we also offer the possibility to combine the course with a bike tour.

With a newly developed safety system, our guides will guide you through the Längenfeld high ropes course.
